★ Please note: You can only join the online drawing marathon once.
Xiao Zhan will support students in practicing self-reflection from an objective perspective and in exploring their inner world more deeply. I’m merely a companion on this journey — all transformation comes from your own will and inner strength.
I may not be able to walk this whole path with you, but I can be there for part of the journey. Since I’ll be investing a lot of time and energy into feedback, the Drawing Marathon will cost more than my face-to-face classes.
★ This course fee cannot be paid via Green World convenience store codes or Green World online ATM card readers. Payment is accepted only by credit card, virtual ATM account, or PayPal.
★ The marathon does not require a lottery; enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will begin their drawing assignments on May 2. They are encouraged to complete at least one drawing per day and submit all their works by the end of May 8. The online drawing marathon will stay active with ongoing challenges and interactive feedback until May 15.
Product Description
Registration is open to those who have completed Xiao Zhan’s Level 1 Drawing class, either in person or online. When registering, please provide the date of your most recent drawing class—if your last class was Level 2, write the Level 2 date; if it was Level 2.5, write the Level 2.5 date. I will verify your name and email with our class records to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria for registering for this marathon session.
Drawing Marathon Compared to Level 1 Class
In Level 1, I design themes and guidance based on the overall state of the group. This includes explaining concepts, stretching and balancing chakras, and continuously observing the class’s condition to provide in-depth support. This process acts like a deep and thorough energy cleanse and detox, clearing blockages on many levels. The difference between those who have attended Level 1 and those who haven’t is significant — simply put, students who complete Level 1 tend to have clearer energy, and it also helps me better understand the students’ unique energetic qualities.
When reviewing homework, I need to connect more deeply with each student’s subtle energy. Because the assignments come in quickly one after another, I must keep my own energy steady. To reduce my workload, I mainly work with students I’ve taught before.
After receiving the first batch of assignments on May 8th, Xiao Zhan will finish reviewing them within three days. Then, two new themes will be sent back to students, and each student will have two days to create three drawing pieces—one for Theme 1, one for Theme 2, and one based on a self-created theme. This routine will be repeated two more times.
At the end, I will share the key ideas and meanings behind all the themes from the four feedback sessions, and discuss the students’ physical, mental, and spiritual condition following their drawing practice.
If you skip submitting your work, I’m not chasing you down—and there won’t be any make-up sessions. We’re all adults here, so please stick to the schedule and play by the rules.
Process
Submit Assignment 1 → Xiao Zhan Review 1 (assigned themes *2 + self-created theme *1) (Please submit your work upon completion).
Submit Assignment 2 → Xiao Zhan Review 2 (assigned themes *2 + self-created theme *1) (Please submit your work upon completion).
Submit Assignment 3 → Xiao Zhan Review 3 (assigned themes *2 + self-created theme *1) (Please submit your work upon completion).
Submit Assignment 4 → Final summary by Xiao Zhan → Discussion → End.
Some students who work at a faster pace may finish before May 15. This online course lasts two weeks.
It’s helpful to keep brief notes/comments with your drawings—like thoughts, feelings, or any challenges you face. I'll provide feedback as needed and as time allows.
★ Please submit no more than five drawings per day.
If you have more than that, please choose the five you like the least. This will help both of us save time when organizing the files.
★ Your notes and feelings are completely valid and real. I'm simply offering my own observations—you can take them as an extra perspective to consider.
During these two weeks, there’s no need to log in at a set time. Just keep up the drawing habit going. Even if it’s only a few quick sketches a day, I can still sense your creative energy through them.
And of course, the more time and thought you put into your drawings, the deeper and more meaningful my feedback can be.
This online class is an intensive deep-dive into your current life patterns. From the moment you start preparing to draw, through submission and feedback, remember to drink plenty of water, avoid iced drinks, and get enough sleep—this will help keep your overall energy at its best.
Past students have shared: “It was exhausting—sometimes even painful—but once I worked through the issues, I felt a huge sense of relief and openness.”
So, if you’re just here for fun, curious to try it out, or simply want confirmation of how great you already are, this probably isn’t the right class for you.
★ This online class is for students who are ready to confront the biggest, scariest challenges in their lives—and have the grit to face them head-on.
★ Open to students both in Taiwan and overseas
★ Students who, due to the pandemic in May–June 2021, were forced to switch from the in-person Level 2 class to the online format are still welcome to join this marathon class. (You can only take the marathon class once.)
Since the online class is focused purely on submitting assignments and one-on-one discussions through emails, without peer-to-peer artwork exchange—the enrollment requirements are much more flexible. If you’ve completed Level 1 (including the online version), you can sign up.
Based on past experience, students who have completed Level 2 tend to progress more smoothly and delve deeper, sometimes even tackling their most significant life issues. Those who have only completed Level 1 usually focus more on their current situation, so their work tends to be less deep. Ultimately, it’s up to you how deeply you want to engage, based on what feels right for you.
Also, a past marathon student made this meme for me — it made me chuckle.
It pretty much sums up the experience of Drawing Marathon:

● To keep track of attendance, drawing class participants must register as members before purchasing and checking out. Filling out your membership info beforehand makes checkout quicker and smoother.
● Payment should be completed within 30 days after registration opens, and classes will begin within 30 days of payment.
